FLYING TO A SUSTAINIBLE/
FUTURE/
Under our boar we carry the entire lift and propulsion system. This gives us an important draft that we will have to take into account when choosing the practice areas. Avoid flying our electric FOIL near coast or beaches.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Italian engineer Enrico Forlanini, inventor and pioneer of aviation, began experimenting with hydrofoils and successfully built the first hovercraft in 1905. The principle of lift is the same as that of the wings of the plane but in water (a thousand times denser than air)
In our first experiences we will have to get used to using the command to check the power and directionality of the eFOIL. The prone and kneeling positions may be the safest for this.
In 2017, the first prototypes were seen virally on the networks and since then, every year, the number of brands that are betting on this form of sliding multiplies. New products that improve the previous ones in design, power, autonomy and price. We are still in the beginning and who knows where we will arrive?
Sailing the seas and doing it in a sustainable way seems an unstoppable trend in the nautical world. The electric foil also brings that man's desire to fly and do it at a very low height adds an extra feeling of total freedom. We have started the flight to that future.
In your first attempts to fly with the electric FOIL it is highly recommended to use a helmet and an impact protection vest. Doing it away from other water users' radios will also help make your navigation lines safer.
